We got a hint of Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor's chemistry
in the video snippets of their Koffee with Karan episode. Ranveer
Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have appeared together on National television first
time.
From dancing on Katrina Kaif's Chikni Chameli to
taking potshots at none other than Shah Rukh Khan, the dynamic twosome were on
a roll. But, a close source reveals us that this show was scripted to make it
all the more entertaining.
Right, while it was Ranveer's idea to spice up the show, the
Kapoor guy was seemingly not too happy with the idea. But, he agreed to it
after his ADHM director and host of the show Karan Johar persuaded him.
Thus came the one liners including the red
chillies remark, all rehearsed and reviewed. A trustworthy
source told, "All the punch lines were scripted. Plus the boys knew all
the questions that Karan was going to dish out. Everything including the Chikni
Chameli dance bit."
The source further added that the quizzes were the only
thing that was suddenly done on the show but otherwise 70% of the show was
scripted.
Also, Ranveer and Ranbir had actually chosen to give some
cocky answers to KJO's personal questions. For example, when KJO asked them
about Deepika they went all out to give him some cynical answers.
The source further included, "Normally, the stars are
given a brief about how the episode will play out and whether they want
anything done in a different way. But, this particular episode was highly
scripted. Kareena and Sonam's episode on the other hand was hardly scripted at
all."
When enquired how was the equation between Ranveer and
Ranbir off-air, the source told, "The two stars were absolutely fine and
cordial with each other. However, they weren't like buddies as it appears on
the show."
We know that Arjun Kapoor also has made an astonishing entry
on the episode. When asked how that came about, the source told, "Arjun
was also at the studio that day and so they decided to get him on. This part
was not at all pre-planned. However, it was short because he had to leave for
the Global Citizen event rehearsals."
