After ruling Bollywood over the last couple of years,
actress Deepika Padukone has now set her foot in Hollywood, where she is
presently shooting for Vin Diesel's XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage.
Nowadays, the Bajirao Mastani actress is working towards
spreading her wings in the west and making a parallel career in Hollywood.
There is a news that the actress has auditioned for a role in The Mummy
franchise opposite Tom Cruise.
Seemingly, Deepika auditioned for a role of an Egyptian girl
in the movie sometime last week in Los Angeles and is now waiting to hear from
the casting directors of the popular franchise. According to rumors, the
casting directors are also looking at other prospects for the role.
Will have to wait and see if the B-Town hottie will star
opposite Hollywood heartthrob Tom Cruise.
