Vivek Oberoi is set to remake a classic from the Persian republic!

Vivek Oberoi has always loved Iranian cinema, which explains why he’s set to remake a classic from the Persian republic.

The actor has bought the rights to Majid Majidi’s 1999 drama The Colour of Paradise, which follows a blind 8-year-old boy whose widowed dad sends him off to be a carpenter’s apprentice while he prepares to get married again. In the past Vivek has said that Iranian cinema subtly conveys a message in the way Hindi cinema has never been able to, so let’s see if this remake can change that!
