Vipul Shah has bought the rights to SJ Watson’s thriller
novel Before I Go To Sleep, which has already spawned a Hollywood film starring
Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
The book centers on a woman who suffered brain damage in an
incident and wakes up every day with no memory of her life from her early 20’s
onwards. Vipul wants Saif Ali Khan to play one of the film’s 3 lead roles, and
the Nawab has asked to see the adapted screenplay before saying haan or na. I get
the feeling Saif won’t be able to resist this one!
