Charming star Shahid Kapoor is all set to thrill the viewers
with his act in the movie Kabir Singh. In the film, Kapoor essays the role of
an alcohol and drug addict due to his heartbreak. The movie also stars Kiara
Advani in the lead role. In a media chat, Shahid got candid about his role.
He told that his character's sheer intensity attracted him.
Shahid revealed, "It's what attracted me to the film in the first place. I
believe there is a Kabir Singh inside everyone. That's why people can relate to
him so easily."
For role’s authenticity, Shahid Kapoor had to smoke a lot of
cigarettes as his character also become addicted to smoking. In a media chat, Shahid
Kapoor disclosed that he had to take a shower for 2 hours every day to get rid
of the cigarette smell so that he can spend time with his kids.
