Evergreen star Akshay Kumar and lovely Katrina Kaif will be
reuniting on the big screen after 9 years. Both are presently busy gearing up
for their forthcoming movie Sooryavanshi, which is directed by Rohit Shetty and
produced by Shetty and Karan Johar.
Akshay Kumar will be seen essaying the role of DCP Veer
Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad, whereas Katrina will play the
character of his on-screen wife. Sooryavanshi was introduced in the last scene
of Rohit Shetty’s cop movie Simmba.
Now, there was news that the makers are planning to remake
the iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Paani which stars Akshay and Raveena Tandon.
Sharing the same, Akshay had tweeted that he would have been upset if any other
actor would have recreated the song.
Recently, Katrina took to her social media handle to share a
BTS photo while shooting for the song with the actor. In this post, the two are
dressed up in towels and are all smiles. The caption reads: “Singing in the
rain #sooryavanshi @akshaykumar @itsrohitshetty @farahkhankunder.”
