Evergreen Akshay Kumar starrer period war drama Kesari
released this week and it has become the biggest opener of the year. The movie
depicts the Battle of Saragarhi of 1897 where 21 Sikhs soldiers fought against
10,000 Afghan invaders. Akshay Kumar, who essays the role of Havildar Ishar
Singh, the leader of his battalion of Sikh soldiers, was applauded for his act
in the movie.
Akshay recently shared a photo of himself on Instagram. In
the photo, Akshay is seen hiding behind the bushes and is urging his fans to
watch the movie at their nearby theatres in a humourous way. He captioned the photo
as, '#Kesari has released...So I'm hiding in the bushes. Catch me if you can in
cinemas Worldwide'.
Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra as the wife of Akshay
Kumar. The film is helmed by Anurag Singh.
