Arjun Kapoor has begun shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s forthcoming
period drama Panipat. Arjun is going the extra mile and has decided to go
almost bald for the movie. In the period movie, Arjun Kapoor is essaying the
role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau and it will be very interesting to see Arjun Kapoor
in a period drama movie.
The Third Battle of Panipat took place on January 14, 1761,
and Arjun took to Twitter to share a video where he is seen giving a message
for the Indian martyrs who lost their lives while fighting for the nation. He
captioned the video as, “To the brave Maratha heroes! Respect.
#ThirdBattleOfPanipat.”
Speaking about the movie, Arjun revealed, “It’s an action
film with an emotional thrust. It’s based on a real battle that defined the
history of India, and it involves the Mughals, the Marathas, the Afghans, and
the Peshwas. It’s an exciting space to get into, and who better to make a
period film other than Ashutosh.”
