Lately, political party Shiv Sena celebrated its golden
jubilee on the 19th of June, 2016. On this event, Smita Thackeray, who is also
a film producer, disclosed that she will be producing a biopic titled Saheb on
her late father-in-law and Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray.
The biopic will be directed by her elder son Rahul Thackeray
and conveying her happiness at this, Smita Thackeray posted, “Balasaheb has
always been an enigma and a legend for both his followers and his family. It is
always an honor to be a part of his journey. I believe his life's story needs
to be shared and I am glad that my son, Rahul, has taken up the challenge on
making this biopic on his grandfather and my father-in-law, "Saheb".
The movie Saheb will be going on floor this year in October
and will depict the life of the Balasaheb Thackeray. The cast of the film is
yet to be been finalized but we are quite curious to see which actor will be
signed up to play the Tiger.
