Currently, every actor and filmmaker worth his/her salt is
out there, promoting his/her film on every medium accessible, including social
media, TV shows and mall visits. But, Salman Khan, who is inarguably one of the
biggest stars in Bollywood today, feels that such activities are of no use at
all!
In an interview to a daily, Khan told that such interviews
and press conferences only help the media and not the stars or the movie as a film-goer
will go watch a film only if the promo or the trailer impresses him. Salman
further added that if a fan wants to know about the star, he can always go onto
the star's Facebook or Twitter page to get to know about him more and in such a
scenario, such events aimed at publicity of a star or a film are not required
at all.
Salman will be next seen in YRF film Sultan and Kabir Khan's
Tubelight.
