Bollywood Is Not Anyone's Jaagir: Salman Khan

Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, who is one of the reigning Khans of the Hindi film industry, shocked everybody lately by claiming that everyone has to struggle in this industry, irrespective of their family background or 'connections'.

When asked to comment on the fact that many actors find it hard to make it in Bollywood because they don't come from a filmy family, Salman told, ''Bollywood is nobody's jaagir. It is tough to survive for everyone here. When some actor can't make it, he says that he didn't get opportunities because he didn't come from a filmy family or because he didn't have a godfather…but isn't this the same for everyone? Shah Rukh Khan did not have a godfather, Akshay Kumar did not have a godfather… at the end of the day, it depends on how good you are on the screen, that's all.''

Salman will be next seen in Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan'and Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
