It was Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt spelling their charm in
Delhi yesterday as they walked the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra on the
final day of the India Couture Week (ICW) 2017.
The two will soon be seen sharing screen space with each
other in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boys.
When questioned about her experience of walking the ramp
with Ranveer, Alia said a famous news agency, “I'm walking with Ranveer for the
first time. Whenever I'm with Ranveer, I go on a different level of energy and
enthusiasm because he just has that inside him. He is very special."
She further remembered the time she was fascinated by
Manish's collection and wanted to walk the ramp for him. “This is my second
time walking for Manish’s couture week. And, I remember the first time I
actually came out in the public before 'Student of the Year' released was for
Manish's couture show here in Delhi when Katrina was walking. I was sitting in
the audience and saying 'Wow. One day, I want to be that person walking on the
ramp. It does feel fantastic to every time walk for Manish. He is like a
family. He is so amazing and inspiring,” she told.
Speaking about his experience of walking for Manish, Ranveer
told, “This is very special. There's a lot of prestige attached to walking for
the Manish Malhotra. All credit to him. His creativity is always flowing, he is
always evolving his art and his craft, and it's here to see. It's a Manish
Malhotra show, unlike any other.”
