Actor Shahid Kapoor is presently in London where he is
spending some quality time with his wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha Kapoor.
The duo will be celebrating their daughter's first birthday in London on August
26.
When it comes to the work front for Shahid, the actor is
busy with the schedule of Padmavati which had unluckily become a victim of
delays due to disruption of the sets and costumes by protesters. The film is
now looking to wrap up the shooting by October so that the release date of
November 17, 2017, remains intact. Padmavati is being directed by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali and starsDeepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
In the meantime, no other movie pronouncements have been
made by Shahid although he is rumored to have signed a few. And it looks like
while Shahid is vacationing with his family, work is on the back of his mind as
he has carried 14 scripts with him in order to choose his next movie after
Padmavati, as per a famous taboid.
A source disclosed to the tabloid, "Shahid has been
getting a lot of scripts but he hasn’t had any time to read them. So he thought
the vacation would be the best time to think about his next projects."
Lately, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh
informed that he was in talks with Shahid for a movie. He told, "Yes, I am
in talks with Shahid but not sure for which film. Right now, I am heading out
for a break of 10 to 15 days. There is a script called Roshini written by Vipul
but not sure that I would be directing it."
