After promoting her last outing, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Alia
Bhatt decided to take a mini break from films and spent quality time with her
family and friends and picking up new hobbies. Now, the actress is in complete
work mode as she started shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Raazi which will see the
actress essaying an Indian spy who is wedded to a Pakistani (played by Vicky
Kaushal).
Talking about her break with a famous tabloid, Alia told,
"I think when I am tired, I just need about 10 days to recover, and then I
am fine. After that, I need to get back on my feet and start working. When I
was on a break, I made [good] use of that time and wasn’t complaining too
much."
On wanting to work during the break, the actress joked,
"Yes, initially, I was complaining a bit, but I get these bouts and I am
like, ‘I want to work. Get me on to a set (laughs)’. And when I say ‘working’,
I don’t mean my live events and ad shoots."
Alia also stated that for her non-film commitments are also
work for her but films will always be her one true love. She confessed,
"Of course, that is also work for me, but my true calling and my core job
as an actor is shooting for a film and playing a character. That’s what I think
my life is all about, so that’s something that I need to do constantly."
