If there is any competition at the ticket window that has
caught everybody's attention, then it is undoubtedly the one between Ajay
Devgn's Shivaay and Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Both
movies are ready to hit the screens this Diwali and their promotions are going
on in full-swing.
The two huge movies are going to clash; it is obvious that
both movies will suffer. The business of the movies, had they released solo,
would have been different.
Filmmaker and Director Ajay Devgn in Indore ahead of his movie Shivaay's trailer
launch, he had said a close source that KJo is a friend and they both will talk
and come out with a solution to avoid the clash. But that doesn't seem to have
happened.
Enquire Ajay about the clash now and he tells, "The
audience gets divided. Ultimately, what will happen is, we are not talking
about the first day. It is a pre-Diwali day and we don't expect a very big
number because people are busy. By the time you come to Monday, which is like
the first day, audience will know which is a better film and that will take
away all the benefits."
Directed by Ajay Devgn, Shivaay also stars
debutantes Erica Kaar and Sayesha Saigal.
