Actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn, who will be next seen playing a
dare-devil rock climber in Shivaay, a movie that he has directed himself, will
soon launch a comic book series based on the movie, which will be released on
October 23 in Mumbai.
Approving the same, Devgn told that usually, films are
inspired by comic books, but this time, a movie has inspired a comic series and
that though the story in the book will not be the same as the movie, the
protagonist would be the same. Supposedly, the comic book character will be
seen undertaking a hazardous mission on behalf of the Indian government, while
the movie will see Devgn's character fight bad guys to save his family.
Shivaay is set to release this Diwali along with Karan
Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
