Ahead of the film's release, reports of the film getting a certificate from CBFC have made the news. Given that both Ranveer and Vaani share nearly 40 kisses in the film, people anticipated cuts from the CBFC.

Not a single cut, verbal or visual for Dear Zindagi!

Film Dear Zindagi is ready to hit the screens on November 25, 2016. The movie lately went under Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) scanner.

Now, the good news is there's not a single cut in the movie and has been granted a UA certificate by the Board. Speaking about it to a famous tabloid, a source disclosed, "There is not a single cut, verbal or visual. The Board actually said it would be a crime to cut even one shot from the film."

They added, "They also singled out Shah Rukh Khan as the A-list actor with the least censorial intervention required in his films."

Dear Zindagi is directed by Gauri Shinde and stars Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.

Befikre Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor's kissing scenes get UA certificate!9

Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor's Befikre made buzz because of its kissing scenes. Interestingly, the trailer has been certified U/A by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This is more shocking because CBFC has always been harsh with the picturization of the intimate scenes in movies.

Speaking about it, “When we are strict with on-screen intimacy, people have a problem, when we let scenes of intimacy remain intact, people have a problem.”

Nihalani added, “The images in Befikre are not about the kisses alone. It’s about a whole lot of things, about love. The trailer shows kissing as a manifestation of love; it’s not there for titillation.”

According to Nihalani, the kisses have been shot rather well. He told, “All the kisses are in long shots. It’s only in close-ups that kissing on screen tends to look overblown. There is a difference between showing intimacy discreetly and getting so worked up about it that the camera becomes voyeuristic. As to why the CBFC has chosen to be liberal with the trailer, it’s because Aditya Chopra’s aesthetic sense makes the kissing look natural, and not vulgar at all.”

CBFC’s only one cut for Ajay Devgn's Shivaay!

Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn's Shivaay are set to release on October 28, 2016. Both the movies are certificated by the CBFC, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has got about five cuts, with a kiss and some lovemaking scenes have been reduced. The news has it, Shivaay has got only one cut from the Central Board of Film Certification.

A source disclosed, "Shivaay was screened on Thursday after ADHM was passed by the CBFC on Wednesday. Ajay Devgn has been at the Walkeshwar office of the Board for the last few days. Only the kiss and lovemaking scene (in the transparent tent hanging from a cliff) between Ajay and Erika Kaar has been trimmed a bit."

They said further, "The Board further felt that the film should get a U certificate as there was nothing else to warrant cuts. Even the violence and action scenes are not of the gory kind. It being a Diwali release, Ajay has made the film keeping family audiences in mind. He will get the CBFC certificate soon."

In the meantime, Shivaay's spokesperson denied the news saying, "We would like to clarify that the movie has not been screened yet in the censor board and the news is completely untrue and baseless."
