About Film:

Sarkar 3 is an upcoming Indian political crime thriller film, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, and co-written by Ram Gopal Varma, and Nilesh Girkar. This is the third installment of the Sarkar film series which stars Amitabh Bachchan again in the lead role along with Ronit Roy, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam.

Synopsis:

Annu Karkare (Yami Gautam) conspires and attempts to avenge the death of her father, for which she blames "Sarkar" (Amitabh Bachchan). Juxtaposed with the situation is Sarkar's own personal battles with his volatile grandson Shivaji Nagre or "Cheeku" (Amit Sadh). Parallely the political and corporate diaspora pose threats to Sarkar's dominance. Assisted by his aide Gokul Satam (Ronit Roy), Sarkar deals with one of his greatest adversaries in the form of Michael Valya (Jackie Shroff) and the moody and seemingly violent politician Govind Deshpande (Manoj Bajpayee).

Amitabh Bachchan’s majestic baritone for Sarkar 3’s Ganesh Aarti!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is back angrier than ever in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3  Along with the return of the angry young man, senior Bachchan has also turned singer yet again for the movie. He has lent his voice for the soulful Ganpati aarti which is sure to stir your soul. 

The song which has been launched today has been composed by Rohan Vinayak and has been set during Ganpati Visarjan. Shot on a Mumbai beach, the song features a multiheaded Ganesh idol adding various hues- giving it a larger than life feeling. 

Talking about the song, Mr. Bachchan's raw and powerful voice is certainly one of the major highlights. Amongst several Ganesh aartis sung till date, Big B's voice gives a refreshing feel to it. The heaviness in his voice surely adds to the thrill. 

The song has a dramatic vibe to it which seems to be a turning point in this political thriller inspired narrative. With Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam chasing sequence to several glimpses of a political coup going on the background, the song is sure to add to one's excitement.

Well, this is not the first time, the senior actor has lent his voice for a movie. Earlier too, Big has sung some popular songs like Rang Barse, Mere Angne Mein, Hori Khere among others. 

Also, using Ganesh aarti amidst a chasing and confrontational climax has always managed to invoke a certain kind of reaction from the audience as it tugs at one's heartstrings like nothing else.  

Talking about the song, a leading daily quoted the senior Bachchan saying, "There is something about the 'Ganesha Aarti' that invokes great divinity; an emotion, that is rare and lasting. Sant Ramdas created this aarti in the 1600s in a raag (Raag Jogiya), that was befitting of great character and eminence. The words are in vernacular Marathi — a rarity for most other Hindu bhajans and devotional songs. Yet, the way the aarti has been structured, it cuts across all language barriers, if at all there are any." 

About lending his voice to it, he said, "I feel privileged and blessed, to have been asked to sing it for 'Sarkar 3'. I sang the aarti for the Siddhivinayak Mandir at Prabhadevi, and when I discussed it with Ram Gopal Varma, I suggested that we do the same for the film as well. We have given it a different tone, but the sentiment, the emotion and the divinity remain in as much prominence as the original."

Apart from Amitabh, Sarkar 3 has an ensemble cast which includes Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Manoj Bajpayee, Jackie Shroff and Ronit Roy in the lead roles. The movie is slated to release on May 12, 2017. 

Amit Sadh is a new enemy of Sarkar Amitabh Bachchan!

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is back with Sarkar 3 and this time Amitabh Bachchan is angrier than ever. Apart from Amitabh, Sarkar 3 has an ensemble cast which includes Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Manoj Bajpayee, Jackie Shroff and Ronit Roy in the lead roles. RGV, recently, shared the new trailer for the movie and in this, we get to see more of Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam. 

Going by the footages of the trailer, we assume that Subhash Nagre's grandson is all set to destroy his sarkar. Amit Sadh is in love with Yami Gautam who is against Sarkar as he killed her father. Jackie Shroff is also seen in his bond avatar. Yami has moved out of her comfort zone and will be seen doing some action-packed scenes. 

At the trailer launch, RGV was asked about the non-objection certificate which he was asked to get it from the Thackeray family. He told, "They (CBFC) have some kind of a regulation, I believe. If they have a reason to believe that this could be based on a real life character, just a safety measure to get a disclaimer, nothing beyond that."  

The first trailer of Sarkar 3 was indeed a roller-coaster ride and Big B just nailed his character. At the trailer launch, Ram Gopal Varma surprisingly revealed that except for the hit Sarkar, he regrets all the other movies he has made which stars Amitabh in it. He said, "Expect of Sarkar, I regret all the films. Many directors including me have taken him for granted, I regret almost every character."

Amitabh and RGV have worked in numerous other movies together which include Nishabd and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag.  

Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Sarkar 3 is scheduled to release on April 7, 2017. 

Sarkar 3 will reshoot due to Amitabh Bachchan!

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3 is all set to release on May 12. However, a few days before its release, superstar Amitabh Bachchan had to reshoot some scenes for the film. The reason for the same is unknown, but, the actor promised to disclose the reason behind it soon.  

Taking to Twitter, Big B posted, "Reshoot in progress. After long hours of debate and discussion Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) and I decided to change the look of 'Sarkar 3'. Just kidding."

The senior actor even shared some photos from the shoot location wherein the duo are seen engaging in serious conversation.

In yet another tweet, Amitabh wrote, "You shall be hearing of this pretty soon!"

Sarkar 3 is the third movie in the Sarkar series and is being presented by Eros International and produced by Allumbra Entertainment, Wave Cinemas and AB Corp.

The film has an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh, Rohini Hattangadi, Ronit Roy and Bharat Dabholkar among others.

Parag Tyagi’s comeback in TV serial Brahmarakshas to score TRP points!

Earlier, Parag Tyagi who essayed the titular role in Brahmarakshas was eased out of the show to bring a twist in the plot. His character was killed and Kishwer Merchant took over the demonic role. But, this didn’t go down well with the audiences and the ratings of the show dropped majorly. After trailing out its slot in the top 5 shows, the makers have decided to bring Parag back in the show!

A smiling Parag conveyed his joy to a famous tabloid, “Brahmarakshas is close to my heart. When my character died, I got emotional. It took me two days to accept it. But it was a creative call taken by the makers. I was missing shooting for it, but then I moved on.” 

During that period, Tyagi got a proposal from Ram Gopal Verma for Sarkar 3 in which he is essaying the right-hand man of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. “Raman (his character) is mute, but he is extremely dangerous. It’s challenging and great fun shooting for the film," told the actor.

With his return to Brahmarakshas, Parag will concurrently shoot for the serial as well as the film. “Luckily, I am shown to be a big dangerous guy in both. Before I started shooting for the serial, I had gained eight kilos. RGV wanted me to be the same size for the movie too, and now that I am back in the show, it works for me,” revealed Parag.

My role in 'Sarkar 3' is small but important, reveals Manoj Bajpayee!

Much-admired actor Manoj Bajpayee who will be seen in Ram Gopal Verma's much-awaited political thriller "Sarkar 3" told his character in the movie is small but a significant one.

Manoj Bajpayee told, "My role in 'Sarkar 3' is small but it is a very important character in the film. Bajpayee was speaking to media at the 18th Jio MAMI Film Festival on Saturday.

The 47-year-old actor who has worked with RGV in movies like "Satya", "Kaun" and "Road" further added, "My association with RGV is quite an old one. So when he approached me for the character of Govind Deshpande I immediately agreed to do it."

Manoj Bajpayee's character is roughly based on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The third instalment of the "Sarkar" franchise will star Amitabh Bachchan as Subhash Nagre. 

The movie also features Yami Gautam as the female lead, Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Ronit Roy and Bharat Dabholkar.

A Release date for Big B’s starrer Sarkar 3!

Admirers of Ram Gopal Varma, who are waiting for news on his forthcoming movie Sarkar 3 are sure to shout in enjoyment at reading this piece of news.

RGV, who will team up with Amitabh Bachchan for the third movie in the Sarkar franchise, is planning to have the movie released in April 2017. The movie is presently being shot in Mumbai and this time, the Big B will be joined by actors such as Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Yami Gautam, Amit Sadh, Rohini Hattangadi and others.

As per information, Sarkar 3 is a fresh story and not connected to the previous two movies.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who shot to recognition sudden with his role as the gritty gangster Bhiku Mhatre in Ram Gopal Varma's cult movie Satya, is known for his edgy and intense acts, but the actor lately astonished us with his comic side in Saat Uchakkey.

When asked as to the shift to comedy, Bajpayee told that he has no idea why he is labelled as a serious or intense actor, but accepts that it is a part and parcel of an actor's life. Bajpayee also disclosed that different to what people consider, he is relatively a funny guy in real life and that he loves doing sensible comedy.

Manoj will be next seen essaying a negative character in RGV's Sarkar 3.

First day of larger, intriguing and oh so unpredictable 'Sarkar 3', tweeted Amitabh Bachchan!

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has begun shooting for the third instalment of the famous crime thriller "Sarkar".

The 74-year-old tells the film by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is captivating and unpredictable.

"First day of 'Sarkar 3'! Larger, intriguing and oh so unpredictable," Amitabh posted on Tuesday night.

Amitabh also shared that there is "apprehension on the first day of shoot".

"An entirely new environ, an entirely new set up, even if the designs of the story and characters have been indulged well in the past...happens all the time. And yet, we never stop speaking about it," he posted on his blog.

"The director knows best and we leave it to him and his vision...that is really the best way out," he further added.

The cine icon had essayed an integral part in the first two instalments of the movie.

"Sarkar", which released in 2005, is set up in the world of Indian politics. Its sequel "Sarkar Raj" hit the screens in 2008.

"Sarkar 3" will see Amitabh reprising his role as Subhash Nagre. The movie will also cast as Rohini Hattangadi, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Ronit Roy, Bharat Dabholkar and Yami Gautam.

Know about Sarkar 3’s star cast and name of characters revealed by RGV!

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who directed the hit franchise of Sarkar, is back with the third part of the movie. Titled Sarkar 3, Ram Gopal Varma took it to Twitter and disclosed the cast of the movie.

Jackie Shroff will be donning a negative character who is mentioned to as Sir in the movie.

Other actors roped by the Company director are Rohini Hattangadi and Bharat Dabholkar. RGV made it clear that Abhishek Bachchan, who was part of both the movies and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was the female lead in Sarkar Raj will not be seen in the third part. RGV tweeted by telling, "Both Abhishek and Aishwarya are not there in Sarkar 3 as this story is set in another time and another situation"

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who will be next seen reprising his role as Subhash Nagre in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar 3, shared some facts about the forthcoming movie while interacting with the media on the occasion of his birthday on October 11.

On being enquired about Sarkar 3, the Big B told, “I will start shooting for Sarkar 3 in a couple of days. As for the film, it will be a fresh story and there will be many new characters as many characters from Sarkar and Sarkar Raaj are no more, so we will have a fresh cast with Subhash Nagre being the only constant.''

Sarkar 3 will also star Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee and Arjun Rampal.

Manoj Bajpayee and RGV come together for 'Sarkar 3'!

Earlier, we had stated that Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan will be teaming up for Sarkar 3 and that Jackie Shroff will play the antagonist in the movie and now, we have overheard some more thrilling news about the project.

News has it that Manoj Bajpayee, who became a household name overnight after his role as gritty gangster Bhiku Mhatre in Varma's cult underworld film Satya, will also star in the movie. Not only this, we have overheard that Arjun Rampal and Suniel Shetty are also slated to be a part of the movie.

Jackie Shroff to play the villain in Sarkar 3?

We had previously informed that Ram Gopal Varma is gearing up for the third installment of his popular Sarkar franchise and if rumors are to be believed, then Jackie Shroff will play the antagonist in Sarkar 3.

Seemingly, Ramu has approached Jaggu Dada and though the actor has not signed on the dotted line yet, the talks are in advanced stages. Amitabh Bachchan will reprise his role as Subhash 'Sarkar' Nagre from Sarkar and Sarkar Raaj.

Ramu had previously disclosed that in this film, there will be much larger dramatic events and larger-than-life characters set against a backdrop of one-upmanship, criminal practices and terrifying conspiracies.

Big B in film but Abhishek and Aishwarya will be no more in Sarkar 3, reveals Ram Gopal Varma!

In 2005, Ram Gopal Varma helmed Sarkar starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Kay Kay Menon which was greeted well by the critics and the viewers. The actors won accolades for their inspiring performances and Abhishek won several awards that year. The sequel Sarkar Raj which released in 2008 had a decent run and also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

After eight years, Ram Gopal Varma has announced the third installment titled Sarkar 3 and will release the first look of the forthcoming movie on August 26. He also confirmed that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won't be featured in the third installment. He posted, "Sarkar 3 first look will be launched on 26th August. Going by the story both Abhishek and Aishwarya will not be featuring in this segment. Scale of Sarkar 3 will be much larger and intense than the earlier two. Rest of the cast details will be soon announced."

Though RGV didn't announce whether the lead role will be reprised by Amitabh Bachchan or not, a report in a leading daily confirmed the actor and filmmaker will be reuniting for this movie.

The plot of Sarkar 3 won't have any antagonist. There will be larger than life characters dealing with Sarkar traditions and dramatic events. RGV told that Sarkar's typical look won't change, but given the complexity of the script, the visual style will change.

Amitabh Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma to reunite for 'Sarkar 3'!

After popular prequels Sarkar and Sarkar Raj, superstar Amitabh Bachchan and director Ram Gopal Varma will team up once more to bring us the third instalment of the franchise. 

On April 7, Bachchan visited RGV's new office in Mumbai where they talked starting Sarkar 3. Approving the development, Big B said a magazine that he met Ramu at his office Company and among the many things they talked about, one was Sarkar 3.

Remarkably, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will not be a part of Sarkar 3, which is set to be shot in Mumbai and London. Shedding more light on the film RGV was quoted saying that the film will focus on Sarkar's life with a completely new set of characters who were not a part of the earlier films.
