Madhuri Dixit opens on disapproval she faced when she entered film industry!

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is known for her slaying smile, acting ability, exceptional expressions, and astonishing dancing skills. Recently, the Beta actress has made her digital debut with the web show The Fame Game. Now in a media chat, Madhuri remembered the time when she was a newcomer in the film industry and how she faced criticism over her looks.

While talking to a host of show, Madhuri revealed, “People used to say that I don't look like a heroine because I was a very young girl, from the Maharashtrian root, very petite. Everybody has those myths that what a heroine should look like. There was a little bit that I had to face.” She further told that her mother had always supported her. She said, “My mother was a very strong lady, she said you do good work and you will get recognition. I have always followed her advice, she said success milega toh baaki sab log bhool jayenge (if you find success, people will forget everything else).”

'Tumhari Sulu' actor reveals, "Working with Madhuri Dixit was definitely a dream come true because we all are such big fans of hers. Initially I was a bit nervous but when we started shooting I just felt like I was working with an actor who was equally invested in the project. That was really great and I've learnt so much."

He further reveals, "The character that I'm playing, his name is Manish Khanna and it's such an interesting character. I think people rarely talk or think about the personal lives of actors. Manish in the show is a star but the struggle for him is to live a normal happy life.

Veteran star Madhuri Dixit Nene has shared some insightful thoughts on quarantine in a post as she has shared on social media.

She took to her verified Instagram account, where she shared a throwback photo, which seems to be have taken during a photoshoot in the nineties.

Lately, Madhuri Dixit and Deepika Padukone were snapped together by the paparazzi at the Marathi Filmfare Awards 2017. The two are hardly spotted together, but whenever they meet they share a great cordiality with each other.

The two posed and beamed as they got snapped at the event. Madhuri looked beautiful in a pink traditional attire, giving us some major fashion goals. The actress accomplished her look with beautiful earrings and bright shade lipstick.

Forget Madhuri, Salman’s best onscreen camaraderie with Matin now!

Admirers have been waiting for Salman Khan's Tubelight ever since it has been pronounced. The teaser has increased the curio levels and now the wait is on for the trailer to finally hit the web on May 25, that is, tomorrow. Just like Harshaali Malhotra was the star attraction of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tubelight has six-year-old Matin Rey Tangu.

Speaking about Matin, director Kabir Khan told, "The kid (Matin) always carries a slingshot with him. It's one of his quirks." Well, for years there's was no one to beat Salman and Madhuri's camaraderie onscreen, but, now according to Kabir, "Let's call it evolution; Madhuri has been replaced by Matin now! It was almost coincidental that such a scene be recreated in Tubelight."

Was it intentional to find a six-year-old as Harshaali and Salman's team did wonder? Then, the answer is NO. Kabir told, "None of us was looking for an actor in a six-year-old. We wanted a wonderful child artiste who had the spunk and the ability to withstand a 100-day shoot. Making one perform is always a director's job. Be it Matin here or Harshaali in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), we never cast actors. They are babies, after all. We went through over a 1,000 kids before finding Matin. He had the attitude and determination to last until the end."

What is the main reason that Kabir zeroed it down to Salman Khan? Kabir further added, "One of the main reasons I cast Salman in this film as well as in Bajrangi was his connection with kids."

Kabir even stated how Salman and Matin were inseparable on the sets. Remembering the shoot experience, Kabir told, "His mom was strict, but Salman ensured he got anything and everything he demanded. They even used to have archery competitions on set, and went horse riding together."

Sanjay Dutt's topic has become redundant, reveals Madhuri Dixit!

Ranbir Kapoor is presently busy shooting for the Sanjay Dutt biopic. The film is being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor in key roles.

Fascinatingly, as per to a daily, though initially, news suggested that Sonam Kapoor will play Madhuri Dixit's role in the movie, reports later surfaced that her role is an amalgamation of Sanjay's love interests from the early 90s.

Ever since the news of Madhuri Dixit's reference being included in the movie came out, there were conjectures that Madhuri made calls to the makers, to remove her mention from the biopic.

When Madhuri was questioned about it by a daily, she ridiculed the reports and told, "For where I am today, this [the topic of Dutt] has become redundant. Life has come a long way since then. I don't know where these reports are coming from. In any case, it doesn't make a difference to me."

On the film front, Madhuri was last seen in Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang back in 2014. Quiz her when she will make a comeback on the big screen and the pretty actress smiles and says "soon".

Probe Madhuri if she thinks Bollywood has changed over the years and she agrees and told, "I worked hard and gave my best. I was fortunate to have worked with someone like Saroj ji (Saroj Khan, choreographer). Our pact was to make every dance look unique and not repetitive. Now, movie making is a different ball game. Commercial and art films belong in the same universe. It's all about the right story, budget and target audience. I wish things were planned before. It would have made our jobs easier."

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are ready to share the screen space for the third time in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, a sequel to their hit movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In the first movie, they were seen in the soulful song Samjhawan recreated from a Punjabi movie Virsa.

Now as per a famous daily, the twosome will be seen in a new version of Sanjay Dutt-Madhuri Dixit's hit song Tamma Tamma from the movie Thanedaar. Speaking about it, the composer of the song Tanishk Baagchi specified, "We have retained the original voices of Bappi Lahiri and Anuradha Paudwal but also added Badshah and a bit of rap. It's a peppy dance track with the music slightly altered to suit current trends."

It will be a treat to see Varun and Alia grooving like Sanjay and Madhuri. Maybe we even get to see Dutt's well-known pelvic thrust and head banging done by Varun.
