Hanuman Ansh (2026) is a biographical drama based on the life and spiritual evolution of the revered 20th-century Indian saint Neem Karoli Baba (affectionately known to his followers as Maharaj-ji). Directed and written by Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi, the film released in August 2026 and grew into a massive sleeper hit, crossing the ₹100-crore box-office mark.
Synopsis
Following the sudden death of his mother, a young boy named Lakshminarayan is overwhelmed by grief and leaves his home in search of spiritual answers. Believing that true peace lies in finding God, he wanders across forests, temples, and villages, living a life of strict discipline, silence, and detachment.
Through years of inner searching, he discovers that devotion to God is realized not by escaping the world, but by serving humanity with unconditional love. Renouncing his personal identity, he transforms into the saint Neem Karoli Baba (revered by many as an incarnation or ansh of Lord Hanuman).
