Bollywood’s successful stars Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor
are all set to reunite on screen after 17 years with Indra Kumar’s Total
Dhamaal. This will be the third film from the Dhamaal series.
Director Indra Kumar verified this to a tabloid lately and revealed,
“Yes, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have been paired in Total Dhamaal which
goes on the floors in January in Mumbai.”
When questioned if the movie will have a Diwali release next
year, the director revealed, “The final decision on the release date will be
taken by the studio we tie up with but it would be great to have a dhamaal
Diwali next year”
Earlier, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri were seen together on
screen in Pukar. Indra Kumar directed the duo in the superhit movie, Beta which
won Madhuri and Anil Kapoor many awards.
Indra Kumar also told, “This film is essentially a comedy so
don't expect any 'Dhak Dhak' but I promise total dhamaal. Anil and Madhuri have
always been a great pair to work with and getting them together again is a
dream." About casting Dhak Dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit, the director said, “I
approached her a couple of months ago and the script worked its dhamaal on her
and everybody else.”
Total Dhamaal also features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh,
Arshad Warsi and Javed Jafferi apart from Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene.
