After the shoot of Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, Vicky Kaushal has
given nod to Karan Johar’s Bombay Talkies 2. It is a short movie for Ashi Dua
and Ronnie Screwvala's four-film anthology based on the theme of love and lust.
Vicky confirmed the development to a leading daily, he said,
‘’I feel blessed that a filmmaker like Karan Johar shows faith in me with a
film like Bombay Talkies 2. The theme of Bombay Talkies 2 is based on love and
lust. Karan Johar sir's film is also about love and lust but but peppered with
a good dose of comedy.’’
He was all praises for Karan Johar and said, "Because
of Raazi and Bombay Talkies 2 now, I have started meeting Karan sir and
interacted with him. He is such an entertaining and jovial person. He has a
wide experience in the industry and doing so many things at the same time that
can only inspire new kids like me in the industry. It's lovely hanging out with
him and I really can't wait to shoot this film with him."
When asked about his character, Vicky refused to divulge any
information. "I can't talk about story and characters but Kiara Advani,
Neha Dhupia and I are in Karan sir's film. It will be an entertaining
watch," he said.
Apart from Bombay Talkies 2 and Raazi, Vicky Kaushal is
gearing up for his upcoming film, Uri produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The movie
will be based on the 2016 Uri attack. Vicky plays an army officer in the movie
and is all geared up to prepare for his role by taking extensive training for
the same.
