Recently, Madhuri Dixit did an #AskMD session on Twitter where she replied to inquisitive questions thrown at her by fans regarding her life, her perception and opinion about numerous other things including the ongoing lockdown. The actress good-naturedly handled all the questions and replied to them.

Answering to an admirer's question about how she is spending her lockdown days, Madhuri posted, "Mostly spending time with my family, playing with Carmelo, reading books, some cooking and doing kathak riyaz!"

One more enthusiast enquired for a suggestion regarding "how to control anger when dealing with negativity". Madhuri responded, "Anger never helps you. Try to think with an open mind and always look on the bright side while dealing with negativity."

One more buff was eager to know how many times did the actress watch her 1994 hit "Hum Aapke Hain Koun", to which she responded, "Honestly, I have lost the count."

Madhuri further posted, "It's not about what we all think. It's about our safety. So any which ways, we all should practice social distancing until it becomes safe out there."

Madhuri Dixit to advocate for safe environment for women everywhere!

After the #MeToo movement, now Madhuri Dixit spoke about sexual harassment in a latest media chat. Madhuri told that we need a safe society and a safe environment for women everywhere and not just in the entertainment industry. She added that there are several women who face harassment on a daily basis in trains and buses and in different public places.

She further added, "If the accused is a famous person then everybody knows about it. But what about those faceless people who harass [women]? In order to provide a safe environment, it is imperative to educate people and also help women to come out and fight fearlessly."

Madhuri Dixit further added that it is also essential to educate people on how to fight the battle.

Ayushmann's wife Tahira Kashyap to direct Madhuri Dixit in her debut film!

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap had been in headlines ever since she declared that she has cancer. She has been recuperating well and is planning to join the film industry as a director. The movie is a slice-of-life flick and is ready to hit the floors. As per a report, Madhuri Dixit has been finalized for the role of the lead in the movie. The yet-to-be-titled project is a women-centric story and Madhuri fits the bill perfectly.

As per news, Madhuri, who was last seen in the Marathi movie Bucket List, has signed the movie. A source close to the development disclosed that she will essay the role of a mother in the movie. "Her character is something that she has not attempted before. The actress to play her daughter will be soon finalized as well," revealed the source.

While speaking about her directorial debut, Tahira Kashyap in a statement revealed, "I am delighted to be working with such incredible partners to bring a take on urban existence to the big screen. It feels surreal that something I had dreamt of for the longest, is finally happening. I’ve been writing screenplays for five years. It wasn’t an easy ride for me. I’m glad that Ellipsis believed in me, and together with T-Series, has given me a platform to breathe life into my script. I am truly excited about this new phase in my life and career."

I would love to do her biopic, says Karishma Tanna on Madhuri Dixit!

Bollywood’s leggy lass Karishma Tanna is presently at the peak of her career. She is rumoured to be playing the role of Madhuri Dixit in Sanju, a movie based on the life of megastar Sanjay Dutt. The rumours about her character started doing the rounds even before the movie dropped its first teaser.

But, Karishma Tanna could neither be seen in the teaser, nor in the trailer of the movie. She has also not participated in any of the promotional events for the movie, unlike her other co-stars. When questioned about her part in the movie, the actor stayed tight-lipped. While speaking to a daily, she just told, "All I can say is that it’s a very important role but I really can’t talk about it."

Avoiding the question about whether she is playing Madhuri Dixit in the flick, Karishma revealed that she would love to play the dhak dhak girl if ever her biopic is made. She told, "Madhuri ma’am is a great star and I would love to do her biopic. It’s magical to see her perform, especially when she dances. I also have the same passion towards dance and I think it would be a dream come true moment for me.”

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit has begun shooting for Abhishek Varman's Kalank. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Recently, Madhuri was snapped on the sets of Kalank and her look was disclosed. As per repoty, Madhuri will play the role of a courtesan in the movie. From the photographs, we can see her look as a courtesan for Kalank.

Earlier, a media source had disclosed, "Madhuri Dixit will be playing a courtesan in the movie which is a period drama. She is a trained Kathak dancer in the movie, who teaches others the dance form. Given her knowledge and mastery on dance, especially Kathak, this one is easy for her. Despite that, she is putting in 4-5 hours for the rehearsals. Currently, due to the promotions of Bucket List, she is slightly caught up. But once that gets done, she will be leaving no stone unturned for the movie."

Madhuri Dixit didn’t take much work due to her kids!

Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit is set to make her acting debut in Marathi Cinema with Bucket List. The movie is directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and also stars Renuka Shahane.

The first look of the movie was shared by Madhuri on her Twitter page and the actress is a pocketful full of sunshine in it. With phrases like 'housewife' and 'friend' as the backdrop; with her million dollar smile and hair tied in a plait, Madhuri exudes vibrancy and strikes a pose in a saree.

Anil Kapoor has a fun in associating with a co-star who understands you!

Bollywood’s famous Jodi Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit's onscreen chemistry is amongst the most loved in Bollywood. It is after 17 years that we will finally see their reunion on the silver screen with Total Dhamaal.

When a daily questioned Anil about working with Madhuri again, the actor disclosed, "I am really excited to work with Madhuri. We have worked on some amazing ventures in the past. It is always fun to associate with a co-star who understands you. Be it in Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1989), Beta (1992) or Pukar (2000), people have always loved and appreciated our pairing. Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor reunite in Total Dhamaal after a gap of 17 years!

Bollywood’s successful stars Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor are all set to reunite on screen after 17 years with Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal. This will be the third film from the Dhamaal series.

Director Indra Kumar verified this to a tabloid lately and revealed, “Yes, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit have been paired in Total Dhamaal which goes on the floors in January in Mumbai.”

When questioned if the movie will have a Diwali release next year, the director revealed, “The final decision on the release date will be taken by the studio we tie up with but it would be great to have a dhamaal Diwali next year”

Earlier, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri were seen together on screen in Pukar. Indra Kumar directed the duo in the superhit movie, Beta which won Madhuri and Anil Kapoor many awards.

Indra Kumar also told, “This film is essentially a comedy so don't expect any 'Dhak Dhak' but I promise total dhamaal. Anil and Madhuri have always been a great pair to work with and getting them together again is a dream." About casting Dhak Dhak girl, Madhuri Dixit, the director said, “I approached her a couple of months ago and the script worked its dhamaal on her and everybody else.”

Total Dhamaal also features Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jafferi apart from Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit-Nene.

Recently, actress Madhuri Dixit hopes that Ventilator, produced by Priyanka Chopra wins the best film award at the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2017.

Madhuri Dixit at the red carpet of the award ceremony told, "I think Ventilator, produced by Priyanka Chopra, might win the Best Film award".

The movie has received 15 nominations at the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2017. Priyanka is quite happy upon receiving so much of love for the movie.

Priyanka Chopra specified, "As a producer, I couldn’t have asked for anything more for my first Marathi venture. It’s such an honor for us at Purple Pebble Pictures and the entire team of Ventilator. 15 nominations... we’re truly overwhelmed. Madhuri is a natural singer, reveals Raja Kumari!

Raja Kumari who is known Grammy-nominated Indian-American songwriter. She has worked with Madhuri Dixit Nene, finds Bollywood's dancing diva a natural singer.

Madhuri is set to make her international music debut with the release of the album titled "The Film Star", and Kumari is one of the artistes who has helped in putting it all together. Questioned about her experience of working with Madhuri, Kumari revealed, "It was life changing. For me, growing up in America, exposure to Indian culture is mostly through Bollywood films. I learnt a lot from her. If you watch me dance, I do a lot of her steps. She has been my guru in a way."

"She is an incredible artiste. A humble and a beautiful person. She is great and is a natural singer. She is such a fast learner and a natural talent. It was such a blessing to work with her," further added Kumari.

Kumari is presently in Mumbai for her newest song titled "City slums" for which she shot in the city's narrow lanes. 

Madhuri Dixit’s new venture has revealed!

Many actors are making regional films these days, and Madhuri Dixit is the latest to jump on that bandwagon.

The Dhak Dhak Girl is producing a Marathi film under her banner RnM Moving Pictures, which has previously stuck to making e-learning and direct-to-home content. Mads hasn’t revealed much about the film that’s be made in her mother tongue, so at this point all I can tell you is that it’s a family entertainer that’ll be helmed by Swapnaneel Jayakar. Madhuri Dixit’s international music debut!

Beautiful diva Madhuri Dixit Nene is all set to venture into the world of music with the release of an album titled "The Film Star". The actress will be starting her music career with "Tu hai mera" - a single dedicated to all her fans.

She tells music has always been an integral part of her life, and she wanted to "kick start this new chapter with a sense of celebration and gratitude" for her fans.

"Tu hai mera" is a fusion of classical Indian folk music with western pop lyrics and beats.

"Music has been a part of my life from the very beginning. I was pretty clear that I wanted to kickstart this new chapter with a sense of celebration and gratitude for my fans who have offered their unrelenting support and all their love no matter what. So what better way to embark on this journey than by celebrating their appreciation," Madhuri told in a statement.

The idea to create a multilingual soundtrack was conceived early last year at a meeting between Madhuri, her husband Shriram Nene and Sat Bisla, founder of global artist discovery and development firm A&R Worldwide, in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is presently in the US vacationing with her husband Shriram Nene and sons Arin and Raayan. She has been posting photos and video on her social media pages from her vacation.

Priyanka’s partnership with Madhuri Dixit to produce a show!

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be co-producing an American TV series on ABC channel and the buzz was that joining her will be none other than Madhuri Dixit-Nene who would be co-producing the show along with Priyanka, Mark R. Gordon and Nick Pepper.  

Recently, during the presscon of her Marathi movie Kay Re Rascala, Priyanka was questioned about this ambitious venture. Without disclosing much, Priyanka told, "As I said that we have been working on many projects which includes English too, but nothing has been finalized yet. I will tell you all as soon as I work on something."

The TV show will seemingly be a sitcom which is yet to be titled and is being written by Sri Rao. The story chronicles around a Bollywood megastar who settles down in the suburbs with her bi-cultural family. She brings her Technicolor point of view to the otherwise mundane town.

Priyanka is presently busy with her Hollywood projects Quantico and Isn't it Romantic? She has also been working on A Kid Like Jake, which features Jim Parsons, Claire Danes and Octavia Spencer.

Beautiful Madhuri Dixit Nene's husband Dr. Shriram Nene celebrated his birthday recently.

Madhuri and Shriram got wedded in 1999 and after living in the US for a few years moved back to India in 2011. 

They have two loveable sons - Arin and Rayaan. Madhuri shared a cute photo of herself with her husband to commemorate his birthday on Instagram.

No Madhuri affair for Sanjay Dutt's biopic after Madhuri’s objection!

Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt's love affair back in heydays was the topic of discussion for every famous daily. But post-Dutt's jail term, the affair died its natural death, and both Sanjay and Madhuri moved on with their individual lives. 

Now a biopic on the life of Sanjay Dutt is in the making and Ranbir Kapoor will be seen reprising the role of the megastar. The movie will seemingly touch all the aspects of the actor's life, from drugs to his affairs. 

The biopic is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and the shooting for the same has begun. Seemingly, alike all the other shocking incidents in Sanjay's life, his alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit Nene was to be featured in the movie. But as per a famous tabloid, that chapter doesn't include in the script anymore, thanks to Madhuri herself! 

A source told to the tabloid, “Initially, the affair was part of the biopic. But when Madhuri got to know about it, she quickly rushed to Rajkumar asking him to remove it. Their relationship is one of the most highlighted part of Sanjay’s life, but considering the actress’ current stature, she disapproved of it. Left with no option, Hirani had to eliminate it from the film.”

The Sanjay Dutt biopic stars Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal. Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor will be seen as the leading ladies opposite Ranbir in the film. It is slated for a Christmas 2017 release.
