Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has accomplished five years in
the industry and in such a small time, the actor has made a place for himself.
He is one of the young lot of actors who have been doing great in terms of box
office numbers. Varun's last outing Judwaa 2 is one of the hits of 2017.
At an event layely, Varun was questioned about has him being
successful changed the attitude people around him? On these lines, the actor revealed,
"My family and friends treat me the same way. I did not have my lunch
today and my mom shouted at me, I don't think anyone is treating me
differently. I am still getting the same treatment. For me, it is about putting
a smile on people's faces. Our box office was not going through a good time when
'Judwaa 2' was going to release and soon things changed as the film did well.
The box office is looking good now as quite a few films did well after Judwaa
2."
On whether the hopes from him add any pressure on him as a
performer, Varun disclosed, "Pressure is there in everything in life, but
when I'm shooting for a film I'm the happiest that makes me feel the most
alive. I'm going to still do things my way and not change just because now the
media feels I'm a bigger star. I do films for the overall impact they bring on
people not just for my own personal benefit."
Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar's October.
