Versatile Anushka Sharma astonished everybody when she
decided to turn producer in the year 2015 with NH 10. From then, there was no
turning back for the actor-producer.
Now as per a famous tabloid, Anushka is all set to produce
web series and the confirmed it. She specified, "As a production house, we
are already working on something. I hope it works out, for the time, effort and
monies put into it. I know it will because it gives the directors a platform to
do something very different from the movies."
She further told, "It's a different way of storytelling
because in a web series you are trying to string a story over a few episodes.
And whoever works in this medium needs to understand how to utilise this
platform to its fullest because it's a great avenue."
Sharma concluded by telling, "As an actor, it's
exciting to work on a character and be able to develop it in a few episodes.
It's a new experience, but the audience is encouraging."
She had previously spoken about venturing into web series to
a famous tabloid, "I am okay with doing anything that has great content.
But I think I will be more keen to do a web series because that will be more
progressive. And it has got to do a lot with how our world has suddenly become
digital."
In the meantime, on the work front, Anushka is gearing up
for the release of Jab Harry Met Sejal opposite Shah.
