Every act performed needs to be censored by oneself accurately.
Particularly if you are a public figure with a large number of fan following on
social media, it becomes your supreme responsibility to be extremely careful
before passing any comments or performing any action to avoid things to go for
a toss. That's seemingly what happened yesterday with VJ Anusha. Her
giggling and laughing at a video shared by actress Kishwer Merchantt featuring
her friends, led to ripples between their friendship. So, Anusha and a friend
of hers VJ Gaelyn ridiculed the English accent of Kishwer's buddies Rahul and
Gurneet in the video shared by her.
Anusha who found it funny, took to social media to laugh at
them publicly for their accent. The VJ received severe criticism from Kishwer
Merchantt and her husband-cum-actor Suyyash Rai who took offence in the whole
scenario. The actress shared a message, lashing out on them. She
wrote, It's sad when a 35yr old doesn't knw how to behave @vjanusha
@vjgaelyn .. grow up !!! And fyi the guy in the video is @rahullsharma and the
girl is @gur4neet .. now u knw them !!! Following this, Suyyash too wrote
it on his social media account; - People consider u guys their role models /
idols ... it doesnt suit u guys @vjanusha @vjgaelyn. Disappointed seriously...U
guys r probably trippin on something and enjoying but unfortunately for you they
are my frns. U shudnt have put this on ur socail networking websites specially
wen there millions of people looking up2 u...and unfortunately they are your
FANS :). U guys probably well educated and have probably studied and stayed
abroad all ur lives its juss that my frns r tooo desi to have that accent...n
unfortunately that guy is from punjab too just like @kkundrra. AND je lodh payi
metho vadda desi labna v nai...GROW UP."
In no time, fans got truly mad at Anusha for insulting
someone's way of talking and being judgmental for no reason. They too lashed
out at her and her friend for being insensitive. Anusha responded to
Kishwer. She told, "Relax, we weren't making fun of anyone, we wouldn't do
that...The video made us laugh...Wasn't meant to offend anyone. In
another, she wrote: And we are both Indians! So please it was never about the
accent, the video was funny, that's it! @kishwersmerchantt"
