Angoori aka Shilpa Shinde rivalry with The Bhabiji Ghar Par
Hai’s team seems to be turning unpleasant day by day. Just a week after, Shilpa
Shinde blamed prouducer Sanjay Kohli of molesting her, now Sanjay and his
wife Binaifer have filed a criminal defamation case against Shilpa. As per
to a source of tabloid, "Binaifer and Sanjay have enough proof to counter
Shilpa's claims in the FIR, which will be contested in court." Shilpa
had filed an FIR against Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai producer, Sanjay
Kohli, wherein she alleged that the latter sexually harassed her during her
stint on the show.
She also had informed the media of how it all started out as
a joke, but, she tried to stop when things went out of control. A tabloid
quoted her telling, “In our industry everything is taken lightly.
Guys say so many things and if you react to them, they go like - ‘we are
kidding’. Things like – ‘You are looking, hot sexy’ - are common.
Sanjay ji used to come on the set and while Benaifer would
take care of all the paper work, he would be the one who would talk like
this to us."
Sharing on of the instance she told,
"Sanjay ji told me that for the promotion of show, we will
have to go out and that we will have a nice time. Also, in the make-up room, he
came close to me and photo lete huye and apna haath rakha mujhe…I
could feel that touch was not right." She further added that she had
shared this with her then co-star Saumya Tandon who she did not take it
seriously and instead told, "Humari industry mei koi
rape nahi karta."
The actor in her FIR has alleged that Kohli used to threaten
her that he will throw her out of the show if she refuses to get into a
physical relationship with him. The 39-year-old actor also claimed that
her make-up man was witness to these happenings but unfortunately he was
fired. But, Kohli's wife Binaifer defending her husband specified, “These
are obviously false allegations. All I can say is that the matter is sub judice.
I have faith in the legal system. I don’t want to give her (Shilpa) unnecessary
attention.”
The Production team even released a statement telling that
they will see her in Court. "All we can say is that matter
is subjudice, we have full faith in the judiciary. We will see her in
court. We don't want to give her unnecessary importance for her obvious false
allegations," read the statement. Apart from this, the actor has
also been sued by the production team for Rs 12.5 crore to make up for the
losses they had to bear due to her absence on the show last year.
