Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is
in India for a week and she has been out and about. From partying with friends
to celebrating the National Award wins for her debut Marathi production Ventilator, Priyanka
is doing it all. Now, she is gearing up for her Hollywood debut movie Baywatch.
The film which stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in the
lead is scheduled for a global release on May 25, 2017.
Given that Baywatch stars Priyanka in a key role,
there were news that the actress will promote the film in India with the whole Baywatch gang.
And since Deepika Padukone managed to bring Vin Diesel to India for
her Hollywood movie xXx: The Return of Xander Cage's promotion, conjectures
around Priyanka getting her Hollywood co-stars to India were widespread.
But, it seems, that isn't happening anytime soon. In a FB
live chat lately, Priyanka explained on the same and told, "Baywatch gang,
I don't think is coming to India."
When questioned about her experience of working with Dwayne
in the film, Priyanka revealed, "Dwayne is more than a dear friend. He is
a wonderful human being, super chivalrous and a great guy. And it is wonderful
to have him. He has been very supportive to me and my career since the beginning
of my stay in America. I am very excited about working with him in Baywatch."
In the meantime, in Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra is rumoured
to have signed Kalpana Chawla's biopic. The director of the film confirmed the
news to a daily. But, Priyanka hasn't pronounced it officially yet.
