At the lately held Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards, Ranbir
Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were felicitated with acting honours.
When Ranbir accepted his award he was all admirations for
Alia. He mentioned to her as the Amitabh Bachchan of Bollywood today.
When questioned which film of Bhatt's did he like the most
and the answer came back as Highway, for which Alia received tons of praise
and established her mark as an actress in Bollywood.
The two actors were very friendly with each other at the
award show and even posed for pictures together.
At the event when reporters spoke to her about the actress
not winning a National Award for her role in Udta Punjab, Alia told,
"Please don't feel bad. I am not going anywhere. There is a lot of time. I
did not feel bad so even you don't feel bad about it."
As per to a famous news agency, on winning the Lokmat Award,
Alia told, "It's a great moment. Winning this award shows that you are now
in the heart line of your country. So it's great."
Alia and Ranbir will be paired opposite each other in Dragon which
is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also stars Amitabh
Bachchan.
