Director Kabir Khan is presently busy with the
post-production work of his forthcoming movie Tubelight. The movie stars Salman
Khan in the lead. Fascinatingly, conjectures around Kabir's next movie are
already doing the rounds. While some suggest that the filmmaker has roped in
actors Katrina Kaif and Hrithik Roshan in his next, some news
now suggest that Kabir may be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, in his
next.
Given that Shah Rukh Khan has an exciting cameo in Tubelight,
the buzz about the two coming together for a project are widespread.
Not several know that both Kabir and Shah Rukh have been friends
ever since the former was studying his documentary filmmaking course. As per to
a report in a famous tabloid, SRK and Kabir are coming together but it isn't
for a feature movie. If the report is to be believed, then it is a web series,
for which Khan has been asking SRK for inputs.
A source informed the tabloid, "Kabir Khan is keen to
work with Shah Rukh and has already approached him for a project. This isn't a
feature film however. Right now, it's too early to disclose any details."
We tried getting in touch with Kabir Khan to get some
clarity on the same. The filmmaker declined our phone call and is yet to revert
to our message.
In the meantime, Tubelight which also stars Sohail
Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, is all set to hit the screens on Eid 2017.
This is Kabir's third collaboration with Salman Khan, the first two being Bajrangi
Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger.
