Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat's off-screen chemistry may be
the talk of the town but, their last two releases – Sanam Re and Junooniyat failed
at the box-office and their relationship has now brought creases to Yami's
parents' foreheads or so we overhear.
While Yami's parents were initially fine with her
relationship with Pulkit, now that it has started affecting their daughter's profession,
they want her to focus on her work. Yami and Pulkit had signed a three-film
deal with T-series but, after their last two movies flopped, the banner decided
to put their third movie on back-burner.
This hasn't gone down too well with Yami's parents, who have
said her that her relationship and the constant talk about her affair with
Pulkit is proving damaging to her career. A source has been quoted telling that
her parents don't want her work to be 'overshadowed by constant gossip'.
Rumor mill has it that Pulkit's intimacy to Yami was the
reason why he separated from his wife Shweta Rohira.
