Earlier in 2012, Sujoy Ghosh had thrilled us with Kahaani, a
movie starring Vidya Balan, who essayed a mysterious avenger and now, the
trailer of the sequel titled Kahaani 2, which was released recently, assurances
to be a treat for enthusiasts of thrillers.
This time, the movie revolves around a cop named Indrajit
(played by Arjun Rampal), who is investigating the life of Vidya or Durga Rani
Singh (Vidya Balan), a victim of a hit and run accident, whose life seems to be
a mystery wrapped in an enigma. As Indrajit tries to figure out her life
through her personal diary, he starts realizing that there is more than what
meets the eye, especially when he finds out that Durga, who also has a
daughter, is wanted by the police for kidnapping and murder.
The promo is dark, edgy, pacy and mysterious enough to tease
audiences into begging for more. Apart from Balan and Rampal, Kahaani 2 also
stars Jugal Hansraj, who will be seen on the silver screen after a long time.
If you had loved Kahaani, the sequel's trailer will unquestionably impress the
hell out of you.
Kahaani 2 is scheduled to release on December 2.
