Abhishek is still my friend, but was not able to be a part of this movie, says Farhan Akhtar!

Filmmaker cum Director Farhan Akhtar released the much anticipated trailer of his movie Rock On 2 in Mumbai recently along with his outstanding team. Farhan revealed about his experiences shooting for the musical extravaganza. When questioned about friend-turned-foe Abhishek Kapoor, who is not a part of the sequel, Farhan told, "Every film and every person has a journey of their own. He is still my friend. But the situation was such that he was not able to be a part of this movie."

Farhan and Abhishek, who were once BFFs, fell apart when Abhishek blamed the Rock On 2 team of not giving him due credits for the script of the film. This followed with a muddled legal battle, the result of which was the souring of the personal and professional relationship of the two gifted artists.

Farhan Akhtar was joined by Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Ritesh Sidhwani for the launch event. The movie is ready to release on November 11th.
