Farhan Akhtar’s band journey is set to be captured in a documentary!

Filmmaker cum director Farhan Akhtar is readying for the release of his forthcoming movie, Rock On 2. The versatile filmmaker made his acting and singing debut with Rock On!! (2008) which was unexpectedly loved by the viewers.

Farhan has his own music band, Farhan Live and he has performed at 61 concerts around the world including countries such as UAE and Singapore. This has happened in the period of over three years. Now as per a famous daily, the actor and his band's journey is set to be captured in a documentary.

Speaking about it, a source revealed, "The documentary will be released soon. Farhan’s team has captured everything, from how the band came into existence to how it has grown over the years. It will feature footages from their concerts, the jamming sessions and the hard preparations that the band has gone through."

They added later, "Farhan has also met a lot of his fans during these concerts. The response from their fans has been fantastic. Hence, they thought of showcasing their eight-year journey."

In the meantime, Farhan's spokesperson verified the report, telling, "The team of Farhan Live has beautifully encapsulated the journey of the band — from how it began to their 61 performances across the globe."
