The advance booking battle between two big films Ae Dil
Hai Mushkil and Shivaay had clearly showed ADHM taking down the
Ajay Devgn starrer. And now that the first-day earnings
estimates are out, here is a clearer view of how the movies are stacking up
against each other.
Seemingly, ADHM has grossed almost 13.25 crores during the
opening day with Shivaay lagging behind at 8.25 crore. And while both the films
received the equal number of screens, this Ranbir-Anushka-Aishwarya starrer seems
to be having an upper hand from viewers.
Remarkably, ADHM’s grossing is believed to be
unusually good, considering the low trade that is seen during pre-Diwali and is
anticipated to remain the same over the weekend.
Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are hoping to good collections
with the coming week.
