Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has now finalized
the female against Ranveer Singh. Deepika Padukone will be seen essaying the so-called
role Padmavati, while Shahid Kapoor will play Maharaja Rawal Ratan Singh and
Ranveer Singh will be seen as Sultan Alauddin Khilji. Now, a new actor has been
added to the cast of the movie.
It's none other than Aditi Rao Hydari, who will essay the
role of one of Khilji's favorite wives, Kamala Devi. Speaking about it, a
source close to the development of the movie, disclosed, "There have been
several meetings between Bhansali and Aditi and the director has finally
decided on Aditi over four other choices. At the moment, the costumes and set
designs are being finalised and the film rolls by November-end."
Padmavati is scheduled to release next year.
