After Kangana and Parineeti opted out of Bosco Martis'
directorial debut, Circus, recently Athiya Shetty has denied for the same.
The movie stars Sooraj Pancholi in the lead and Suniel Shetty in a key role.
Previously it was informed, Athiya will be seen opposite
her Hero actor Sooraj and will be sharing screen space with her
father Suniel for the very first time. In a communication with a famous media
agency, the fashionista denied the news telling, "It is not true. I have
not signed anything like that. That has just never happened. In fact, it has
not been approached to me."
In its place, she is presently preparing for Mubarakan,
where she is signed opposite Arjun Kapoor. Speaking about it, she told,
"I'm very excited for Mubarakan. I can't wait to start shooting. I
can't wait to be on set. It's a really funny, crazy and mad wedding that
everybody is invited to. While hearing the script I genuinely wanted to be a
part of it because I wanted to see it as an audience. My character is a Punjabi
girl, who is very simple but she has a side to her that adds chaos to the
drama."
