The promo of Aamir Khan's much-awaited movie Dangal, which
is based on the life of Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his
daughters, was uncovered recently and we just can't get enough of it!
The trailer throws light on the story of Phogat, a former
wrestler, who longs for a son who can carry his legacy forward and win the gold
medal in wrestling for the nation. But, much to his dissatisfaction, Phogat is
blessed with daughters.
But when Phogat recognizes that his daughters are as good as
sons when they bash up some tyrants, Phogat decides to train them in wrestling.
Aamir Khan is not called Mr. Perfectionist for nothing and the actor is as inspiring
as ever.
The movie also stars Sakshi Tanwar, who essays his wife and
actresses Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra as his daughters Geeta and
Babita correspondingly. The wrestling scenes and the sequences where Phogat
trains his daughters have been shot stunningly and have made us curious to see
the movie on the big screen.
The promo is quite inspirational and though a few scenes
from the trailer might remind you of Sultan, Dangal will assuredly prove to be
one of the biggest hits this year. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is scheduled
to release on December 23.
