Sonam Kapoor plans to make her directorial debut soon!

Actress Sonam Kapoor, who had aided director Sanjay Leela Bhansali before making her acting debut with Saawariya, is now planning to wield the megaphone soon, we hear.

Sonam told that she is planning to make her directorial debut in the next couple of years and that she wants to work on movies about strong women. Sonam also added that in her opinion, more women directors are required in Bollywood.

In her next movie Neerja, Sonam will be seen playing air-hostess Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life while saving passengers from armed terrorists during a hijack crisis.
