The multi-talented Farhan Akhtar, who is reasonably
passionate about music and singing, seems to be quite keen on the idea of a
biopic on legendary composer RD Burman, who was also lovingly called 'Pancham
Da'.
Farhan tells, ''I think it would be interesting to do a
biopic on Burman. He is the man behind some great music, and behind all the
great Kishore da (Kumar; actor-singer) and Anand Bakshi (lyricist) songs. He is
also responsible for the amazing classical music of Amar Prem (1972) and the
crazy disco tracks of Hum Kisise Kum Naheen (1977).''
It is also being told that whenever he is asked to name a
music legend he would like to show on the big screen, he always takes Burman's
name, which obviously implies that he is interested in such a project.
Farhan, who was last seen playing a cop in Wazir, will be
next seen in Rock On 2.
