Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin has turned a
year older and Emraan Hashmi, who is playing him in his biopic -Azhar, gave him
a very special gift on his 53rd birthday.
The actor shared a black and white image on Twitter from the
movie, in which he resembles the former skipper from his initial days.
Emraan shared the still on the micro-blogging site, posting,
“Happy 53rd Birthday @mpazhar. Here is my birthday present. Me as You in
#Azhar!#HappyBirthdayAzhar @AzharTheFilm”
Directed by Tony D'Souza, the biopic will ensnare the three
most important aspects of Azhar's life- his faith in Allah, his two wives and
his unproven involvement in the controversial match fixing episode.
