National Award-winning filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has
given several much-admired movies like Paan Singh Tomar, Saheb Biwi Aur
Gangster and Haasil to name a few, now wants to scout talent from the very
interiors of India.
According to close sources, Dhulia's core team would soon be
visiting interiors of several states to discover new talent. The filmmaker is
also planning to keep workshops for them and will be personally involved in it.
They want to find actors, director and writers from India's hinterlands and
provide them a platform to showcase their talents.
Approving the news, Tigmanshu told, "Yes we are
definitely going to execute this, we are currently planning the states which
our team would visit and we would be keeping workshops as well. We need to
explore more talent and help them with a platform, we are looking for writers,
actors and I'll be involved with the whole process."
