Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini's car got involved in
a fatal accident last night in Rajasthan and now, the Rajasthan police has
arrested her driver for over speeding.
The accident between Malini's Mercedes and a Maruti Alto
left a 5-year-old child dead. Four others in the Alto got harshly hurt and the
actress also suffered minor injuries.
The driver Mahesh Thakur has been booked under section 304-A
(Causing death due to negligence) of IPC which is a bailable offence. The
driver will be taken to the accident site for spot verification.
In the meantime, Hema Malini is undergoing treatment at
Jaipur's Fortis Hospital.
