Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was supposed to play the central
character in director Raj Kumar Gupta's next, Section 84, has walked out of the
project.
Gupta has confirmed the rumors and has disclosed that it was
a mutual decision as 'things didn't work out as planned'. Sources claim that Kareena,
who was supposed to play a schizophrenic in the movie, was not happy with the
final script. Gupta but has rubbished the rumors and has stated that the script
excuse is the most appropriate one.
The film deals with Section 84 of the Indian Penal Code
which states, "Nothing is an offence which is done by a person who, at the
time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the
nature of the act, or that he is doing what is wrong or contrary to law."
