'Hero No. 1' Govinda to make Marathi debut soon!

Followers of Govinda, who are keen to see more of him after Kill Dil and Happy Ending, will be glad to hear that their favorite 'Chi Chi' is soon gearing up for a Marathi movie debut!

The yet untitled movie is being directed by Devdatt Manjrekar and is slated for a year-end or early 2016 release. The movie, which will also star Johnny Lever, will have Govinda essay the role of a person hailing from rural Maharashtra. Lever has shared screen space with Govinda in movies like Dulhe Raja, Hadh Kar Di Aapne and Joru Ka Ghulam.

In the recent past, Riteish Dehmukh had made his Marathi debut with Nishikant Kamat's Lai Bhaari.
