Hema Malini spoke on her relationship with Dharmendra during a chat with a radio station, as per a statement.

Questioned about her unforgettable phone call, she revealed, "It was when Dharamji called me and said I love you."

"Back in those days, it was very difficult as there used to be landline phones and you had to find a proper place to speak over the phone. Romance is a very beautiful feeling. I could express the feeling of love only because of Dharamji," she further added.

Veteran actor Hema Malini is presently the gladdest person as her daughter, Esha Deol, gave birth to a baby girl on October 20. The new grand mom in an interview to a tabloid disclosed the new feeling that has engulfed her right now.

“It’s such a beautiful feeling to become a grandmom again! I am very excited right now. Even Dharmendra ji is very happy. But we didn’t burst more crackers, as we did not want to disturb the child with the noise and also because it would have led to so much pollution,” added the veteran actor.

“I was equally excited when Darien (son of Ahana Deol, Hema’s younger daughter) was born. But he has grown up so fast, and now goes to playschool. But I am scared to hold these babies, though I did it in my time. In the next few years, even Radhya will grow up and start going to school... how time flies! But I am happy seeing the way Esha and Bharat are handling things. They are so excited, almost as if they have a little new toy to play with!” Hema said, while adding “Ahana is helping Esha, since she’s more experienced. Nowadays, there are so many things to help both the parents and the child, which we didn’t have in our times.”, she added later.

Acting phase is no longer part of my life, says Hema Malini!

Veteran actress and politician Hema Malini tells that her acting phase is no longer part of her life but if something interesting comes up then she would absolutely take that up.

"I think that phase of my life is over (laughs). Even people in parliament ask me whether I am working in films or not. I feel like doing a film, but I must get a proper story. I just can't do any films which come my way.

Famous TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, of Balika Vadhu fame, allegedly committed suicide in her apartment on Friday and her death has really bugged veteran actress Hema Malini.

Hema recently wrote, ''All these senseless suicides which achieve nothg! Life is God's gift for us to live not for us to take at will. We have no right to do that (sic).''

''One must learn to overcome all odds & emerge successful, not succumb under pressure & give up easily. The world admires a fighter not a loser,'' tweeted the Dream Girl.

''Just becomes food for the hungry media who chew on news like celebrity suicides until the next sensational news happens. Thn it is forgotten (sic),'' she concluded.

Pratyusha was found hanging from the ceiling of her Mumbai apartment on April 1.

Police arrest Hema Malini's driver after car accident!

Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini's car got involved in a fatal accident last night in Rajasthan and now, the Rajasthan police has arrested her driver for over speeding.

The accident between Malini's Mercedes and a Maruti Alto left a 5-year-old child dead. Four others in the Alto got harshly hurt and the actress also suffered minor injuries.

The driver Mahesh Thakur has been booked under section 304-A (Causing death due to negligence) of IPC which is a bailable offence. The driver will be taken to the accident site for spot verification.

In the meantime, Hema Malini is undergoing treatment at Jaipur's Fortis Hospital.
