The minute it was publicized that Ajay Devgn will play the
lead in Drishyam, which is the remake of a South thriller, fans of the intense
actor rubbed their hands in glee at the thought of getting to see Devgn perform
some action scenes.
But, director Nishikant Kamat lately saddened Ajay's fans by
dsiclosing that Devgn, who plays a middle-class family man named Vijay
Salgaonkar, will not be seen even slapping anyone in this movie! Kamat told
that the movie won't have any larger-than-life action scenes and that he and
Devgn were on the same page regarding the portrayal of his character.
However, we are sure fans of Devgn will not miss watching
the movie, which also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor.
