Irrfan Khan, who is back from Budapest after wrapping up the
shoot of Hollywood movie Inferno, will host the premiere of his friend,
filmmaker Asif Kapadia's forthcoming documentary movie Amy.
Asif, who is currently busy with the film's international
premieres, won't be able to attend the Indian premiere of the film and hence,
Irrfan decided to host it in India.
Irrfan tells, "I am glad to host this screening for my
dear friend Asif and really looking forward to the film."
Amusingly, Asif's much-acclaimed movie The Warrior was
Khan's first international project. The premiere will be held in Mumbai on July
9 and Irrfan has invited his close friends from the fraternity to the event.
