After months of speculation, Yash Raj Films has announced it
is launching Manishi Chhillar.
The former Miss World will star opposite Akshay Kumar in the
studio’s biggest ever historical film, Prithviraj. The Dr. Chandraprakash
Dwivedi-directed biopic will centre on the life of the heroic King Prithviraj
Chauhan, and Manushi will play his wife Sanyogita. My khabru says the beauty
queen auditioned for the role a few times before she was officially cast nine
months ago, and has been rehearing six days a week since then. Time will tell
if she makes it to the A-list.
