The conjectures surrounding Priyanka Chopra's next Bollywood
project has been rife for the longest time as the actress has been rumoured to
be starring in numerous projects. But, no official validation has been made on
the same.
Recently, news by a famous tabloid suggested, Priyanka may
star alongside Aamir Khan in astronaut Rakesh Sharma's biopic. Titled Salute,
the film will see Aamir portray the role of Rakesh Sharma while Priyanka will
likely play his wife in the biopic. Salute will be directed by Mahesh Mathai.
In an interview, when we questioned Priyanka's mom Madhu
Chopra about the reports, she said, "I am the last person to know about
it. Rumours mat phailaao yaar! (Don't spread rumours). This has not reached my
ears."
She also disclosed that Priyanka does not have time for a
Bollywood movie, this year and specified, "She is starting with Quantico
next month which will go on for 8-9 months, after that maybe."
